A very hot day today, I walked down to the Meadows, then realized I had forgotten to put a memory card in my camera and had to walk back up to home to get one!
This was a shame as I had found a Common Darter dragonfly on the scrape perched on a leaf very close to the bank. Needless to say when I returned with a memory card the darter never came quite so close. However, I did find an Emerald Damselfly. Also near the central hedge was a Comma butterfly and two brown dragonflies. Despite seeing these every time I go the the Meadows I still can't identify them.
