Late Summer Dragonflies

A warmer afternoon than it has been recently. Very few birds in the Meadows but the dragonflies and damselflies were putting on a late summer show. A female Common Hawker was busy egg laying, several Common Darters were around, and quite a few Emerald Damselflies. The only butterflies were a Peacock, 2 Small Whites and 2 Green-veined whites.
A Grey Squirrel was the only mammal, in the central hedge.
