Plant Survey

Yesterday, Val Riley and a team of plant experts from Staffordshire Wildlife Trust came down to the Meadows to have a look at the plant life. Even during a brief tour of the area they identified many plants that Ellen and I had no idea were there. Plant life is the basic building block of any habitat and all other creatures totally depend on it. A good knowledge of the Meadows plants, shrubs and trees will be enormously helpful in managing the site for all its visitors, human and animal.
