Still cold

It still seems cold for the time of year. I have been on the meadows several times during the last week and noticed a lack of butterflies, dragonflies and other insects. The bird life too seems a bit subdued, probably due to a lack of insect food. The forecast is for warmer weather in the next few days so things may improve.
