After some hard work by dedicated volunteers and some rain in late August the pond is now now looking better. There were two Southern Hawkersand a few Common Darter dragonflies around a couple of days ago.
There are loads of berries on bushes and trees all around the meadows, so there will be plenty of food for the winter thrushes that will start to arrive in the next few weeks.
